"I must admit I was a skeptic when I was
first approached to play in the 2001 SFF/One Way Farm Golf-a-thon. I thought it
might be a challenge to raise the money. However, after one week I had reached my
goal, and by the time of the event had raised close to $8,000. I asked 51 people
to sponsor me, and out of those 51, 47 did. What a great feeling to have
that kind of personal support, and for such a great cause!"

"'Thunder is Great, Thunder is Impressive, but it is the Lightening
that does the Work!' This quot is befitting of one of the most hard working
charitable families in our area, The Smith Family. After working closly
with the family for over two years now, we have seen first hand that they
just don't talk about doing good things for people, they dedicate their
lives in making miricles happen. Gale, Laura and their children and grandchildren
are creating a wonderful legacy for Tri-State children and we are blessed by their
kindness and generosity."
